Temporary exhibitions of national and international scale are held annually within the walls of the museum. We are especially proud of our joint projects with the State Hermitage Museum, the State Russian Museum, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as private collectors. Visitors can enjoy excursions, master classes, lectures, concerts, a media library, a recreation area and fragrant coffee.
Today the Museum is located in the old building of the former Konigsberg Trading Exchange (an architectural monument of the XIX century), built according to the project of the famous German architect Heinrich Muller in 1875. The Museum of Fine Arts in the "architectural pearl" of modern Kaliningrad is a unique synergy of art, architecture and history for everyone! We can proudly call ourselves the brightest open museum in the city, because there are 200 windows and 11 doors in the museum building!
